I love that you are the driver.  I feel so taken care of by you.  I know you like to drive and would be fine if i wanted to drive but I get to see so much out my window. I love it. And I love you!

P.S. I know that you love to drive anyway because you love cars so much but I still really appreciate that about you.

Day 32

Happy St. Patty's Day!  Feeling lucky to have you in my life.  As usual you are a rock star at work getting the most complimentary and confidence building email from Ken Caldwell and getting 100%personal bonus at work.  You amaze me, nothing can stop you.  As Ken said, not if you're CMO but when. :)  You bring our family lots of luck and I adore you.  Minus how awesome you are at work, you are even better at home.  I value you as a husband and father more than anything in the world and if I could I would give you a 1000% bonus for your 'awesomeness.' I felt like you heard me last night and you put me 1st.  It makes me feel so special and loved.  Thank you.  You are a rock star all around.  Amazing!

Not my favorite Monday in the world but I am grateful you are in town and did a very cute FHE on baptism.  As small as it may be, I feel like the kids are getting something out of this even though Logan was messing with your chair, Dylan was climbing on me while I was trying to hold the baby and Brooklyn was dancing around.  Thank you for your persistence...with all of us.  I love you.

Alright, so you just told me yesterday about idealizing your spouse.  You said that you had read an article about how people who idealize their spouse (like when you are twitterpated and can't see any bad in them) when you are dating/engaged, you will be more likely to have a long and happy marriage.  That's when you said you still have an idealistic view of me.  Which on days like this I am extremely grateful for because I have had a hard time with the kids and couldn't seem to get anything done or even get out of my jammies before 5pm.  Yikes!  Thank you for seeing me in such a good light.  You never complain about me in jammies, or a messy house, or unmade dinner, etc.  You are always thankful for what I DO get done,  and you still manage to make me feel like you can't live without me.  Which is kind of crazy because i always feel like I can't live without you.  Even on hard days when we don't see eye to eye there is no one I would rather disagree with than you.  I still see the best of you and thank you for TELLING me that you still see the best in me.  I feel like we could accomplish anything together.  I love you!

Day 26

Temple overdue.  Now I understand why I go to the temple.  Amazing learning experience.  We are awesome!

Day 25

I got the best surprise ever today.  You came home a night early!  Awesome!  And actually a little scary.  I am embarrassed because the last time I talked to you before you came home, I was angry because you were flying in and going straight to work with out as much as a 'hello, I missed you'.  The next thing I knew I was thinking you were a burglar.  I waited on the stairs around the corner from the door and then realized there is a big mirror there and if you were a burglar you would totally be able to see me anyway.

It's amazing the instant relief and comfort I felt knowing you were home and safe.  i felt protected again and I was so excited thinking I was going to get a good nights sleep for the first time all week.  Well, that was before I realized I had let the two oldest kids sleep in our bed.  We had almost everybody sleeping with us, but I still felt overwhelmed with joy that you were home.  I love you.

Day 24

This morning I woke up to a phone call from my hubby.  I got to hear things like, 'I'll always have an idealized view of you.' And 'you're fabulous, I love you.'

Day 22

Thrilled to have you in town for one more day and anxiously preparing for you to go again.  My heart misses you when your gone.  I love that you can make the real 'magic' mashed potatoes and that you love to play with the kids.  I love that you support my crazy antics and contest aspirations by dressing up and acting out on video.  You can be my prince charming any day of the week.

Day 20

I am thankful you care about missionary work.  I know it's important to you and I know you have felt that way since your mission to Brazil.  The kids never get tired of hearing the same stories about giant spiders on fire and on your shirt, a pet sloth (which was totally against the rules),  huge parrots, and sleeping in a hammock on a boat.  What an adventure.  Thanks for serving so honorably and for giving us the blessings. I love you.

Day 19

You make me laugh.  Really laugh.  Really hard.  You make me do my ridiculous loud laugh that's just one solid 'ha' sound.

Day 18

I love you because you put the kids to bed before I got home from YW last night.  You made dinner and even redressed the baby after two blowouts.  I love it when you step up and help.  It makes me feel like you think my calling/what I do is important.  Thank you and I love you.

Day 17

Last night Dylan got to stay up late with you and have cherry cobbler and ice cream while you played an awesome game of electronic battleship.  I know Dylan loved every minute!

Day 16

Today I woke up to you doing a dance while trying to get your sweater on.  I love that you can turn something so simple into something to make others laugh or giggle.
