Day 50

I am excited for this post because it's 50! I thought it would be hard to think of something new each day but sometimes I can think of many things at once and have too many to write about.  I am grateful you have the Priesthood.  I think it might be the one thing you take seriously :)  I'm grateful to be able to ask for blessings and to know who will baptize Dylan and bless our babies.  It may not seem like a big deal to you but it is a huge deal to me.  I appreciate that you care about it and are responsible with it.  We will miss you today! I love you and I'm excited for another fifty!

Day 49

I already miss you.  I think you are an awesome chef  and I looove your fried chicken. You and your food are yummy!

Wish we were on some exotic island today.

Day 46

Yesterday we had an ugly grey day for the entire day until dinner time.  Outside we saw a beautiful complete rainbow and Brooklyn said

'Can you call Daddy and tell him to look out his window so he can see it?'

Be still my heart!  She thinks that while you are away, you can see the same pretty rainbow she sees.

That's just as cute as when Logan races to get a toy car to show you through the phone.

Day 45

Back on the Saddle Again!  Still missing you today, but grateful for the late night phone call that you were safe.  I don't remember anything you said but I was happy for the call.  Dylan is busy and excited planning for your River Monsters party!  He's so cute about it. we love you so.

I want to teach you some ballroom dancing. I love it because it's so romantic. I was obviously watching DWTS again. :)

Day 44

You were inspired today!  I love it when you get excited about living life! It was so fun to talk to you even though you are away.  It was so sweet the way you had the kids help you pack last night.  Usually Dylan wakes up flustered because he doesn't want to miss saying good bye to you but today it was Logan.  I got the 'not you!' And he said it over and over again.  He heard the garage door close and was so sad.  The kids adore you and it makes me so happy.  I adore you too!  We miss you! I'm way better, cooler, more fun, more relaxed when you are here.

And you are a good son.  You deserved a better dad but it says that much more about your character because of the son that you are.
